Other Job and Training Opportunities

Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council (YRITWC) has organized Renewable Energy training which is FREE to Alaska Residents through a grant funded by the State of Alaska – Department of Labor. Space is limited. The courses will be taught by Solar Energy International. Courses being offered are:

PV101: Grid-Tie Solar Electric Design and Installation
PV203: Battery-Based Solar Electric Design and Installation
ST101: Solar Hot Water Design and Installation
WP101: Wind Design and Installation. 

The training is being held at Susitna Energy in Anchorage, AK. For additional information about the classes, please click here or visit www.yritwc.org. If you’re interested, please complete the Solar Energy International application and submit as directed. The application deadline is May 21, 2012.
