In 2010, the Koniag Board of Directors set out to define the core values that are the heart of all we do at Koniag. These are values that reflect our heritage, who we are and how our company functions on a daily basis. We reflect these values in all we do and the decision we make. The purpose is to make clear to everyone — Shareholders, Descendants, vendors and business partners — how we conduct business and the goals toward which our corporation strives.

Two of the nominees from the Koniag/KANA Regional Roundtable received a President’s Award at the 2014 Alaska Federation of Natives Convention held October 23rd-25th in Anchorage, Alaska.
Sarah Jean Nevzuroff-Nelson was selected for the Health award.
Eleanor King was selected for the Small Business award.

The Koniag Board of Directors announced at the 2014 Annual Meeting that there will be a dividend distribution of $3.00 per share to Shareholders in January 2015.
