Kodiak Office Director-Kodiak: Koniag is recruiting for a Kodiak Office Director, a new position within our corporate department.  The individual who fills this position will collaboratively lead the team that is currently in place in Koniag’s Kodiak office and Shareholder Services Department.There are three critical functions in the Kodiak office that are currently performed by key team members and that the Kodiak Office Director will be expected to provide effective leadership over:  (1) General Management of the Kodiak Office; (2) Shareholder Services; and (3) Culture and Community Affairs. The new Director will be expected to analyze these functions in collaboration with key team members; develop and improve processes to accomplish critical functions; and set clear goals and expectations for team members.   In general, the Office Director is responsible for the effective and efficient performance of these critical functions by the team. The Office director shall promote goodwill, communication and service programs for the benefit of the shareholders and the Corporation. The Director serves as the “ambassador” for Koniag within the Kodiak Island community.  Duties shall be performed in accordance with the directives of Koniag, Inc.; policies established by Koniag’s Board of Directors; the By-laws of the Corporation; all binding agreements; and all applicable local, state and federal law.

Senior Administrative Assistant—Anchorage: Koniag is recruiting for a Senior Administrative Assistant position based in Anchorage. The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Anchorage office, including facility and logistical support, as well as administrative support to the Anchorage-based Executive Team. Additionally, this position is the first line of communication between the Corporation, the general public, and Shareholders in the Anchorage area. Duties shall be performed in accordance with the directives of Koniag, Inc.; policies established by Koniag’s Board of Directors; the By-laws of the Corporation; all binding agreements; and all applicable local, state and federal law.

Chief Financial Officer—Anchorage: Koniag is recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer in Anchorage. The As a member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, central treasury, budgeting, tax, forecasting, oversight of minority real estate interests, and partnerships with financial institutions. Duties shall be performed in accordance with the directives of Koniag, Inc.; policies established by Koniag’s Board of Directors; the By-laws of the Corporation; all binding agreements; and all applicable local, state and federal law.
