Shauna serves as the President for Koniag. Prior to joining Koniag, she was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, the Vice President of Shareholder Services for Afognak Native Corporation, and the Deputy Director for RurAL CAP.

Shauna enjoys giving back to her community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Alutiiq Museum, the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce, Rural Energy Enterprises, and the RurAL CAP Foundation. She is a 2010 Native American Top Forty Under 40 and a 2007 recipient of Alaska’s Top Forty Under 40.

A lifelong learner, Shauna holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Alaska and a graduate certificate in Alaska Native Executive Leadership from Alaska Pacific University. She was a 2009 participant of Harvard Business School’s High Potentials Leadership Program and a 2017 German Marshall Memorial Fellow.

Shauna and her husband Josh have passed their love of the water and mountains to their two kids, Kai and Paxson. In the winter, you can find them skiing as a family and in the summer rafting many of Alaska’s wild and scenic rivers.
