US Supreme Court Renders Decision in Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Litigation

In its final decision issued today, the United States Supreme Court reduced the $2.5 billion punitive damage award to plaintiffs drastically, to $507.5 million. You can find the complete decision at  Exxon Shipping Co. vs. Baker.
