Dwayn Mullan

(November 21, 2010) Longtime Soldotna resident, Dwayn Mullan, 42, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at his home in Soldotna.

Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at The Soldotna Church Of God, 105 Redoubt St., in Soldotna. Pastor Allen Humphries will officiate. A gathering will immediately follow the services at the church.

Mr. Mullan was born July 1, 1968, to Pat and Laura Mullan, in Anchorage. He was a lifelong Alaska who worked and loved being a commercial fisherman. He was also a roughneck worker for the oil field.

The family wrote, “Dwayn loved life and especially his sons Cameron, Chance and Christian. He loved his wife and family very much. Dwayn lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. He was loved by his parents and wife, and had more friends than he realized. He finally forgave himself. Dwayn died peacefully in his sleep.”

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Sanguinetti; and grandmother, Nadia Mullan.

He is survived by his wife, Stefanie Mullan, of Soldotna; sons, Cameron, Chance and Christian Mullan, all of Soldotna; parents, Pat and Laura Mullan, of Soldotna; grandmother, Annie Sanguinetti, of Soldotna; grandfather, Pat Mullan, Sr., of Kodiak; and Aunt Lydia Pollard, of Soldotna. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins
